The Ashbrow School Council
School Council:
At Ashbrow, our pupils feel great pride for the school. We listen to their views and take 'pupil voice' very seriously.
As part of this, the school council play a key role in making decisions and ensuring that their views are heard. We currently have one pupil from each class from years 2-6, who represents their class in the school council. We also have a nominated school council member who has been elected by the teaching staff.
The School Council has been key to driving forward important school initiatives, planning money raising events for school and they have a 'voice' in school affairs. Representatives have the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
